Private 2 day Scenic Winelands Tour

Scenic drives through the vineyards of the Cape and enjoying wine tasting

e will drive through the beautiful winelands of the Western Cape, travelling through vineyards nestled between majestic mountain ranges and over beautiful mountain passes. We will visit wine estates in Somerset West, Franschoek and Stellenbosch and enjoy three wine tasting experiences at historic Vergelegen in Somerset West, La Motte in Franschoek and Simonsig in Stellenbosch.

ITINERARY
Collect from hotel at 8. 30 – 9. 00am and drive to the beautiful vineyards of Somerset West. Visiting historic Vergelegen Wine Estate and enjoying the tour and wine tasting. After a leisurely lunch we can stroll through the estates beautiful garden. On our return we will drive through the majestic Paarl Valley with Paarl Rock and the Taal (language) Monument and return to your hotel at approximately 5. 30pm.
Day 2
Collect from hotel at 8. 30-9. 00am and drive to Franschoek . La Motte is situated in the beautiful Franschoek Valley, home to the finest wines. Visit the historical cultural museum and farm shop. We will stop at the Huguenot Monument representing the arrival of the French Huguenots in the late 1600. After driving through the historic town of Stellenbosch we will visit Simonsig Wine Estate and experience an informative wine tasting. Return to hotel at approximately 5. 30pm.
